In the vibrant city of Atlanta in 1990, fate wove together the destinies of three young women — Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas — forming what would become one of the most iconic girl groups in music history: TLC.

Their journey began with the release of their debut album, "Ooooooohhh... On the TLC Tip," in 1992. From the outset, TLC's music was bold, unapologetic, and uniquely them. With hit singles like "Ain't 2 Proud 2 Beg" and "Baby-Baby-Baby," they quickly made a name for themselves with their distinctive R&B, hip-hop, and pop-infused sound.

The turning point in TLC's career came with their second album, "CrazySexyCool," released in 1994. The album catapulted them to superstardom, featuring chart-topping hits such as "Creep," "Waterfalls," and "Red Light Special." The trio's chemistry was undeniable, and their empowering lyrics resonated with fans around the world.

However, as TLC soared to new heights, they faced their share of challenges. Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, known for her fiery personality and unique rapping style, tragically lost her life in a car accident in Honduras in 2002. Her passing marked a profound moment of grief for the group and their fans, but T-Boz and Chilli decided to carry on in her memory.

TLC continued to create music as a duo, releasing the album "3D" in 2002. Despite the loss, they persevered, and their resilience showcased the enduring spirit of TLC. They continued to tour, collaborate with other artists, and maintain their status as pioneers for women in music.
