Aaliyah Dana Haughton, known simply as Aaliyah, was a talented American singer, actress, and model. Born on January 16, 1979, in Brooklyn, New York, she rose to fame in the 1990s with her distinctive voice, R&B hits, and a captivating presence.

Aaliyah's music career took off with her debut album, "Age Ain't Nothing but a Number" (1994), which was produced by R. Kelly. The album included hits like "Back & Forth" and showcased her smooth vocals and contemporary R&B sound.
